Sonar Tracker: How do I enter Statutory End of KS2 Test Scores manually?

Overview

The easiest way to do this to import the CTF file from Primary Assessment Gateway. If you prefer to enter the data manually, this article explains how.

Sonar Tracker will be updated with the conversion tables soon after the DfE publishes them.

Instructions

  1. Select Assess.
  2. Select Key Stage 2 from the Statutory Assessments list:
  3. When prompted, select the Year Group and/or Class for which you wish to enter test results:

  4. Select Load Assessment, the Key Stage 2 input page opens for the selected pupils:
  5. Select a cell and enter the test score:
  6. Repeat for each pupil and each test paper.

Outcomes

The test score for the selected pupil is saved when you select another cell.

If you enter an invalid test score, the cell background will change to red. Select the exclamation mark icon to view the valid scores you can enter (Available Codes):

Close the Available Codes window and correct the error. 

Reporting KS2 Outcomes

The conversion tables will be programmed into the software shortly after they have been published by the DfE which populates the reports

  1. Select the End of Key Stage 2 Outcomes report to show the percentage of pupils at and above in each subject as well as the school's combined percentage.
  2. Select the Statutory Dashboard in the Analysis tab (This report is updated overnight so will reflect any changes made the following day)
  3. Select the Primary Assessment Conversion Matrix Report to show these outcomes against previous assessments eg End of Year 5 Summative Data. When using this report for select KS2 TA as the From option.
