Overview

This article explains how to enter Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher Assessments.

The following interactive guide shows you how to enter statutory assessment data in Sonar Tracker. Select the relevant data that you want to enter when prompted to see a step-by-step demonstration:

Instructions

To enter Key Stage Two Teacher Assessments using Sonar Tracker:

  1. Select Assessments.
  2. From the Statutory Assessments pane, select End of Key Stage Two:
  3. When prompted, select the Year Group and/or Class for which you wish to enter test results:
  4. Select Open Assessment, the End of Key Stage Two input page opens for the selected pupils:
  5. Select Edit Assessment
  6. From Edit Assessment:

    1. Optionally, change the Assessment Date if it is different to the one shown (by default this is today's date).
    2. Select Start Editing.
  7. Using the filters, select the subject (English, Mathematics, Science), or if you would rather view an overview, select Summary:

  8. Enter each pupil's End of Key Stage Two assessments in the appropriate cells as required:

  9. Repeat Step 8 for each pupil / test.
  10. Select Lock Assessment.

Tips

If you enter an invalid test score, a red message is displayed explaining that the value is incorrect:

Select the Information key to view the meanings of the different values you can enter (where codes, rather than scores are used):

Outcome

The End of Key Stage Two outcomes are updated and saved. 

Reporting End of Key Stage Two outcomes

This data will show in the Statutory Dashboard in the Analysis tab.
