Sonar Tracker: How can I report on Statutory / End of Key Stage Assessments in Sonar Tracker?

Sonar Tracker

Overview

This article explains how you report on Statutory / End of Key Stage Assessments.

Prerequisites

  • You must be a Sonar Tracker Administrator or Tracker Owner.

Reports available

After statutory assessments have been imported or manually entered into Sonar Tracker from your MIS the following reports are available to help analyse and share this data:

For analysis

Statutory Dashboard

This gives you all EYFS, Phonics, KS1, MTC and KS2 data on one page for all children who were assessed.

  1. Statutory Dashboard

Outcomes reports

  1. End of Reception Outcomes Report.
  2. End of Key Stage 1 Outcomes Report.
  3. End of Key Stage 2 Outcomes Report.

For sharing with parents (when you use a third-party MIS)

If your ELG, Phonics or KS2 data has been recorded in stand-alone Sonar Tracker and you still use a third-party MIS, you must export you Sonar Tracker data to your MIS. Within your MIS, you can generate statutory data reports for parents, as this is a common function of most MISs.

To create a CTF export from stand-alone Sonar Tracker for import into your MIS:

  1. Select School.
  2. Select Statutory Data Export to MIS from the Exports widget.
  3. Select the export you need in the Actions column.

See Sonar Tracker: How do I export statutory end of key stage data from Sonar Tracker? for more information about the export process.

For Data Returns

  1. If you are using a stand-alone version of Sonar Tracker, you can create a CTF of your statutory assessment data that you can import into your MIS. From there, you can create your Data Return. In this instance, see Sonar Tracker: How do I export statutory end of key stage data from Sonar Tracker? for more information about this export process.
  2. If you are using an integrated version of Sonar Tracker, export your statutory data as a CTF ready for submission in the built in MIS - see MIS: How do I export a CTF file?
