The Primary Assessment Gateway (PAG) will close on 19th December as the new National Curriculum Assessment Portal (NCA Portal) replaces this.
To check your 2024/5 KS2 data is in Sonar - How do I see statutory data for Year 7 pupils?
Downloading results as a CTF from the Primary Assessment Gateway
Follow these instructions to download your KS2 test results:
- Open the Primary Assessment Gateway.
- Log in.
- Go to Available Activity.
- Select View and download KS2 test results.
- Select Download results.
- When the page opens, select Common transfer file (CTF) and download the file (full results with TA scores).
Importing your CTF into Sonar Tracker
Follow these instructions to import your KS2 test results:
- Select School.
- Select the Send a file to Sonar widget to open your device's file management software and select the results CTF to upload (or drag the results CTF file you want to upload onto the widget):
- The system will detect the file contents and display the details. Check KS2:
- Select Upload and process file. Files are processed every 15 minutes so it shouldn't be too long before you see the raw scores in Assess > Statutory Assessments > KS2.
To ensure the reports show your data, we must program the scaled score conversion tables into Sonar Tracker. We aim to do and test this as soon as possible on KS2 results day, after which any imported scores will be used to populate the reports.
Outcomes
Select Assessments > Statutory Assessments > Key Stage 2 and select year group or class
There are three tabs;
Raw Scores will populate immediately.
Test Outcomes will populate immediately once the conversion tables have been programmed into the software;
On Key Stage 2 results day, we must program the conversion tables into Sonar Tracker for Test Outcomes to be calculated for this screen and reports. We aim to do this within the first couple of hours of the day.
If you think your data has not been imported, go to Sonar Tracker: Why can't I see my data after uploading a CTF in Sonar?
Reporting KS2 Outcomes
- Select the End of Key Stage 2 Outcomes report to show the percentage of pupils at and above in each subject as well as the school's combined percentage.
Select the Statutory Dashboard in the Analysis tab (This report is updated overnight so will reflect any changes made the following day)
- Select the Assessment Conversion Matrix Report to compare the KS2 data with the KS1 Outcomes for the pupils. When using this report for select KS2 Tests as the From option.
