Overview

This article explains how to enter Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher Assessments for Writing and Science, and for Reading and Mathematics if pupils are below the test standard.

Prerequisites

You must have Account Owner, Account Admin, or Full Edit permissions to enter or edit statutory assessment data in Sonar Tracker.

The following interactive guide shows you how to enter statutory assessment data in Sonar Tracker. Select the relevant data that you want to enter when prompted to see a step-by-step demonstration:

Instructions

To enter Key Stage Two Teacher Assessments using Sonar Tracker:

Select Assessments.
From the Statutory Assessments pane, select End of Key Stage Two:
When prompted, select Year 6 or year 6 classes for whom you want to enter your teacher assessments:
Select Open Assessment, the End of Key Stage Two input page opens for the selected pupils:
Select Edit Assessment.
From Edit Assessment:
1. Optionally, change the Assessment Date if it is different to the one shown (by default this is today's date). Any information that you enter / edit will be assigned to the selected date.
2. Select Start Editing.
Using the filters, select the subject (English, Mathematics or Science):
Enter each pupil's End of Key Stage Two teacher assessments in the appropriate cells as required:
Repeat Step 8 for each pupil / subject / assessment.
