Juniper Websites: Creating and editing a page

  • Updated

Overview

This article explains how to create and edit a website page. Website pages are used to share information with your visitors. You can add text, images, video and much more using the content editing ribbon. The page admin ribbon allows you to set additional locations for your page, archive and publish dates, and much more.

Creating a page

  1. Navigate to the area of the website where you want to create a page.
Note: The new page will be created under the current page.

  2. Select Page from the Create tab. A blank page template will display:

Naming a page

  • Select the title text and enter a title to edit the page title. Keep the title short as it will also be used to create the menu item to access your page.
  • Alternatively, select the Edit tab and in the Title field, type the page title.

Editing page content

Removing null wording from your page content area

We recommend you add text to your content area however, if you need to leave a page blank for a particular reason, when you save the page you may notice that the word NULL appears, where the content is missing.

If you are certain that you want to leave the content blank, use your keyboard to type two spaces in your content area.  When you save you page it will now appear empty.

Page Settings

Select the Edit tab to access the Page Admin Ribbon

If you have clicked into the content area on your page, you will see the Content Editing Ribbon.  To close the content tools, select outside of the content area, or select the cross at the right-hand side of the menu ribbon.

The Page Admin Ribbon lets you update many options for an individual page or item on your website, for example, setting archive options and additional page locations:

Saving

Select Save on the Edit tab and choose the desired save option:
