MIS: How do I view this year's whole-school weekly attendance?

Overview

This article explains how to see weekly attendance figures for the whole school for the current academic year.

Instructions

From within Juniper MIS:

  1. Select Reports.
  2. Select Attendance.
  3. Select Dashboard.

  4. If you want to include those pupils who are Leavers, check Include Leavers, otherwise, leave Include Leavers as unchecked:

    When this is unchecked (default), attendance statistics for the academic year are displayed for pupils with a Current status. When Include Leavers is checked, this filter includes all pupils that were on roll during the selected academic year, including those that have left (pupils whose Status is either Current or Leaver). 
  5. Locate the Attendance Over Time widget:

Outcome

The Attendance Over Time widget shows attendance across the whole school week-by-week for the whole academic year. Additionally, you are presented with a comparison of year-to-date attendance for the whole school with that of the prior week:

  1. Roll over the graph to see the weekly percentage attendance.
  2. Select image.png to toggle between Current Year and Current Term views.
  3. Select View Report to open the Attendance Over Time report.
