Overview

This article explains how to see year-to-date attendance by year group using the Group Attendance Overview widget in the Attendance Dashboard. 

Instructions

From within Juniper MIS:

1. Select Reports.
2. Select Attendance.
3. Select Dashboard and locate the Group Attendance Overview widget:
   
4. Within the Group Attendance Overview:
   
   1. Select (the filter icon).
   2. Select Classes.

Outcome

The Group Attendance Overview widget compares year-to-date attendance for each class for the last week. Additionally, you are presented with a comparison of year-to-date attendance for all classes across the school. This compares the last week's attendance with that of the prior week:

All values are displayed as percentages. The comparison is either highlighted with a red or green background:

1. Red indicates a drop in whole-year attendance week-on-week.
2. Green indicates in increase in whole-year attendance week-on-week.

Select View report to open the Attendance Analysis report.

The colours on the chart indicate the attendance level, based on those configured in the Attendance Colour Bandings (for further information, see MIS: How do I configure attendance colour bandings?).
