MIS: How do I view last week's attendance by pupil type?

Overview

This article explains how to see last week's attendance by pupil type (Male, Female, Pupil Premium, FSM and CLA).

Instructions

From within Juniper MIS:

  1. Select Reports.
  2. Select Attendance.
  3. Select Dashboard and locate the Cohorts Attendance widget:

Outcome

The Cohorts Attendance widget shows the year-to-date attendance percentage of the different pupils across the whole of your school based on their characteristics:

  1. Male - male pupils.
  2. Female - female pupils.
  3. Pupil Premium - pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium.
  4. FSM - pupils eligible for Free School Meals.
  5. CLA - pupils in care of a local authority (Children Looked After).

A comparison of each cohort's week-on-week attendance is provided in a list to the right of the chart. Each comparison is either highlighted with a red or green background:

  1. Red indicates a drop in attendance week-on-week for the cohort.
  2. Green indicates in increase in attendance week-on-week for the cohort.

The colours on the chart indicate the attendance level, based on those configured in the Attendance Colour Bandings (for further information, see MIS: How do I configure attendance colour bandings?).

Select View report to open the Pupil Overview attendance report.
