Overview

This article explains how to view a detailed list of pupils who are categorised in the persistently absent band (whose absence for the current academic year is between 10% and 50% / attendance is between 50% and 90%) using the Absence Bandings report.

Instructions

Opening the Absence Bandings report

Open the Absence Bandings report:

1. From the Absence Bandings Widget in the Absence Dashboard select : 
   
2. From elsewhere in the Juniper MIS:
   1. Select Reports.
   2. Select Attendance.
   3. Select Absence Bandings.

Filter the Absence Bandings report

The Absence Bandings report opens: 

It summarises the number of pupils within a series of percentage bands, along with the percentage of pupils in each band, and the status of each band:

1. Select Filters to view the specific pupils:
   
2. Apply filters of your choice to narrow the absence banding details displayed:
   

View the pupils within a Persistently Absent band

1. Select an Absence Rate Band where the Status is Persistently Absent:
   

Outcome

A list of pupils within the selected band is displayed, including their Year Group and Overall Absence percentage for the academic year-to-date.

Select a pupil to view their attendances / absence record that makes up their part of their pupil record:
