Overview
This article explains how to see how many pupils within one or more year groups / classes have observations recorded against their name from the Observations Summary pane.
Prerequisites
- To use Sonar Tracker's Observations functionality, in addition to a Sonar Tracker subscription, you must subscribe to either the Observations Module or the Parent Engagement Bundle (this includes the Observations Module and the Awards & Activities module).
Instructions
- Select Observations to open the Observations page:
-
If prompted, select the Year Group(s) / Class(es) for the pupils you wish to view observation information for (you can choose more than one for each as needed), then select Open Observations:
If you set Sonar Tracker to default to a specific pupil group but want to view a different group, when the Observation page loads, select Filters and select your new group.
- Locate the Observations Summary pane from which you can view the information. Scroll through the list to view details for each pupil.
Outcome
From the Observations Summary pane, for your selected year group(s) / class(es), you can view:
- The total number of pupils with observations. In this example, 5 pupils have observations recorded against their name. Two pupils have 2 observations each, and three pupils have 1 observation recorded against their name. This gives a total of 5 pupils (as shown in the blue lozenge)
- The number of observations each pupil has recorded against their name.
