Sonar Tracker: How do I add a photograph to an observation?

Overview

This article explains how to add a photograph to an observation you have just created and not yet saved or a draft observation.

Prerequisites

  • To use Sonar Tracker's Observations functionality, in addition to a Sonar Tracker subscription, you must subscribe to either the Observations Module or the Parent Engagement Bundle (this includes the Observations Module and the Awards & Activities module).

Instructions

Skip steps 1 - 5 if the observation is already open:

  1. Open the Observations page.
  2. Select the My Drafts tab in the Observations Feed.
  3. Locate the draft observation to edit.
  4. Select the ellipsis next to the observation to open the individual observation menu:

  6. If you're using a tablet or phone, you can take a photograph by selecting Open Camera in the Observation tab. If you are using a computer or would prefer to use a photograph you've already saved, select Upload Files, then select a photograph already stored on your device.
  7. To add more photographs, select Upload Files to add existing photos or Open Camera to take more photographs.
  8. Once completed, save or publish your observation.
