Sonar Tracker, Observations

Prerequisites

• To use observations in Sonar Tracker, you must subscribe to either the Observations Module or the Parent Engagement Bundle (which includes the Observations Module and the Awards and Activities module), in addition to your Sonar Tracker subscription.

Sonar Tracker observations are different from Awards & Activities observations. Sonar Tracker observations record and evidence learning in action, while Awards & Activities observations recognise and celebrate positive behaviours and achievements. • There are three ways to start recording an observation. Choose the method below that best meets your needs. All three let you save a draft to finish later, or publish straight away.
  1. Record an observation using a photograph - Take a photo in the moment or upload one from your device.
  2. Record an observation using a description - Type a short note about what you've observed.
  3. Record an observation by tagging pupils - Quickly tag one or more pupils and add detail afterwards.
