Juniper Websites: How do I delete an appointment booking?

Overview

This article explains how to remove an appointment that has been booked.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an administrator.
  • You need to have purchased the Parents' Evening add-on. 
  • You must have published the parents' evening event and have an appointment that has been booked.
  • You must know which parents evening event the booking is for, the member of staff, the date (if on the event is being run across multiple days) and the time of the appointment you want to move. 

Instructions

Open the parents' evening details for the specific Parents' Evening Event from the Parents' Evening Dashboard (see Juniper Websites: How do I open the details for a published parents' evening event?)

To remove an appointment:

  1. Select Please select staff.
  2. Select a staff member from the list.
  3. Select a date (if the parents' evening runs over multiple days).
  4. From the list of available appointments, select Remove Booking next to the appointment you want to remove:
  5. The booking will be removed and the slot will become available:
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  7. Optionally, check Send email of changes to parents.
  8. Select Save bookings.  

Outcome

The booking will be removed. It will be available so that someone else can book the time slot. If you checked Send email of changes to parents, the parents will receive an email confirming that the appointment has been cancelled.
