Juniper Websites: How do I publish a draft parents' evening?

Overview

This article explains how to publish a parents' evening event that you have previously saved as a draft.

After publishing a parents' evening event, you cannot make any changes. Review all details carefully before publishing to ensure everything is correct, particularly the booking window. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to send an invite email to parents until the booking window opens. If the booking window starts in the future, for example, you must wait until that date to send the invites.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an administrator.
  • You need to have purchased the Parents' Evening add-on. 
  • You must have previously saved a parents' evening event as a draft.

Instructions

To make a previously saved parents' evening event live:

  1. Select the Add-ons tab.
  2. Scroll down and select Parents' Evening Booking:

  3. Select the Edit icon from Year Dashboard next to the event you want to publish:



  4. When the event window opens, select Next.
  5. Select Publish to make it live.

Outcome

Your parents' evening event is published. The event is visible to any parents who log in. Parents will be unable to book appointment slots until the booking window that you set arrives.
