Our team has continued investigating the issue throughout the afternoon. So far, we have been unable to recreate the problem that was reported, and the system will remain offline while further checks are carried out.
Our next formal review is scheduled for 11:00am tomorrow, and we will share an update at that time. If we make progress sooner, we will provide an update earlier.

We would like to provide you with an update regarding Sonar Tracker. Our team has completed the fix and is now carrying out final testing to ensure the system is fully stable before restoring service.
As a result, we are adjusting our timeline and now aim to have Sonar Tracker back online tomorrow morning. We appreciate that this is a change from our earlier update, but we are confident you will value the thorough testing we are undertaking to ensure a smooth return to normal service.

We’re pleased to confirm that Sonar is now fully back online following the recent outage.
We understand how disruptive this has been for you and your teams, and we’re genuinely sorry for the inconvenience caused. Our engineers worked tirelessly to identify and address the issue, which was traced to a fault with one of our suppliers. We’re now conducting a full review to ensure it cannot happen again.

Phone and Live Chat Support Unavailable on 26th and 27th June
Due to staff training, phone and live chat support for Sonar Tracker will be unavailable on 26th and 27th June. Email support will remain available, however response times maybe delayed. Thank you for your understanding.

We are aware of an intermittent issue that is causing Sonar to be slow to load or in some instances fail to load for users. Our development team are investigating this as an urgent priority and we will provide further updates when we have them. In the meantime if you do experience Sonar being slow to load please try refreshing your page, clearing your cache and/or closing Sonar and logging in again.

We have been made aware it is not currently possible to add users to Sonar. Our development team are currently resolving this, we will update this page once this is complete.

6th January 2025 - Wonde Sync
We are currently working on an issue with the nightly Wonde sync that updates Sonar with your pupils' contextual information; joiners, leavers, PP, SEN status etc. We were able to run the sync on Friday 3rd January and will run another sync this Friday 10th January to update this information for the following week. In the meantime our development team will be spending time resolving the issue.

If you have made changes to pupil data in your MIS which you need to be transferred to Sonar before Friday please contact us at sonartrackerhelp@junipereducation.org asking us to run a manual sync for your school. We will perform this for you and confirm once complete.

20th November 2024 - Setting EYFS Targets
We are currently investigating after a school reported that EYFS targets they have set have not saved in Sonar. We currently advise that if you are adding targets, you do this for a child, move away from the target entry screen and go back to it to check they have saved before continuing. We will update you here when we know more.

Our development team have established the issue is confined to EYFS targets and that targets are saving but the issue is with retrieval once the page is revisited. Targets show in the EYFS Target Analysis report.

We have been made aware of a possible issue when adding users to Sonar. When adding users, please do not select any 'responsibilities' as this seems to be causing the problem. When the 'responsibilities' section is left blank, the user is successfully added.

18th November 2024 - Error when loading Formative Assessment
We are aware of an error occurring in some instances when users attempt to load the Formative Assessment screen. This has been reported to our development team for further investigation.
This seems to be linked to the amount of data that is being selected and retrieved from the database. We advise selecting one strand at a time when loading Formative Assessment, as this should reduce the likelihood of the error occurring.

13th June 2024 - CTF Export BETA
We are currently resolving a couple of reported issues regarding our new CTF export, in response to feedback now the feature is live;
The changes involve:
- Errors caused by children without UPNs - we are removing all leavers from the export
- Adding an extra line to the export file to ensure data is successfully imported in all MIS
If you have entered data for EYFS / Phonics / KS2 we advise you to wait until further notification here before contacting us about CTF errors involving missing UPNs or data not importing into your MIS.

- Warn of missing assessments so they can be added and give the option for the file to be created without these children

8th December 2023 - Primary Formative Assessment screen error
We are aware that some users are encountering a failed to load assessment error message when trying to load formative assessment objectives. This has been raised with our development team for them to investigate further.
The error occurring appears to be dependent on the amount of data (pupils, strands and objectives) that are being selected. So in the short term, we would advise users encountering this error to try reducing their selections. Try selecting a class at a time rather than a year group or select fewer subject strands, rather than all the strands at once.

Our Development Team have released a fix to address the formative assessment screen load issue. Formative assessment is now successfully loading and the error message is no longer occurring, regardless of the amount of pupils or strands that are selected.

31st October 2023 - MIS Sync not running automatically each night
We are aware that for some schools the MIS sync is not currently running automatically each night. In some instances pupil records are showing a number of days since last updated. We are looking into this.
In the meantime if your Sonar account needs updating (e.g. new pupils have joined or changes in pupils' SEN or PP status) please contact support and we can run the sync manually for your school.

We have been monitoring the nightly MIS sync and can see that we have had a consistent run of syncs for the majority of schools since 9th November. We are therefore marking this as resolved, however we will continue to monitor the MIS sync process.
