Sonar Tracker: How do I import Key Stage 2 Statutory Assessment results (Portal users)?

Overview

This guide explains how to import your school's Key Stage 2 statutory assessment results into Sonar Tracker through the Juniper MIS. It also covers checking those results in Sonar Tracker.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an Account Admin or Account Owner by default to import a CTF in Juniper MIS.
  • Your CTF file must follow the format LLLSSSS_CTF_LLLSSSS, where LLL is your LA number and SSSS is your school number. If you downloaded the file from Get Information about Pupils (GIAP), rename it before importing.

Instructions

Sign in and open the Juniper MIS

Follow these steps to sign in and reach MIS:

  1. Go to the Juniper sign-in page (for example, https://sonar.junipereducation.org) and login using your email address and password (see Sonar Tracker: How do I log in to Sonar Tracker? for further information).
  2. From the app switcher in the top-right corner, select the Juniper MIS (see How do I switch between Juniper apps / products? for further information).

Import your Key Stage 2 results file

From within the MIS, follow the steps in MIS: How do I import a CTF? to import your Key Stage 2 results.

Entering / modify your Key Stage 2 results (as required)

Where Key Stage 2 results need to be manually entered:

  1. From the app switcher in the top-right corner, select the Sonar Tracker (see How do I switch between Juniper apps / products? for further information).
  2. Follow the instructions in Sonar Tracker: How do I enter Statutory End of KS2 Test Scores manually?

Outcome

Your results will be imported successfully into your MIS and will be available in Sonar Tracker. Follow these steps to check the imported results in Sonar Tracker:

  1. From the app switcher in the top-right corner, select Sonar Tracker (see How do I switch between Juniper apps / products? for further information).
  2. Select Assessments.
  3. Select Statutory Assessments.
  4. Select the assessment that you want to check.
  5. Select the year group and class, then select Open Assessment.
  6. Check the grid shows the correct outcomes for the academic year.
