Sonar Tracker: How do I see statutory data for Year 7 pupils?

Sonar Tracker

Overview

This article explains how to check whether data has been entered for current Year 7 pupils (last academic year's Year 6). It provides links to articles that explain what to do whether the data is or isn't available in Sonar Tracker.

Instructions

Follow these steps to establish whether data is entered;

  1. Select Assessments.
  2. Under Statutory Assessments, select End of Key Stage Two.
  3. Select Year 7.
  4. Select Filters:
  5. In Filters:
    1. Check Leavers.
    2. Select Apply Filters.
  6. The Assessment page updates, either including Year 7 pupil statutory data or without it. If the data is not visible, to import it refer to:

    1. Sonar Tracker: How do I import and report on KS2 Statutory Assessments? (for users of stand-alone Sonar Tracker).
    2. MIS: How do I import a CTF? (for users of integrated Sonar Tracker).

If you don't know which version of Sonar Tracker you are using, see Sonar Tracker: Which version of Sonar Tracker am I using?

If no pupils show this is because they were not on roll when your Sonar account was set up so not included in the Wonde sync.

Analysis of Year 7 Leavers' data

After confirming the data is stored you have a choice of reports:

Statutory Dashboard (available for all Sonar Tracker users)

The Statutory Dashboard shows data for all pupils who were assessed in your school in a selected academic year.

This report may take overnight to refresh, so if you update or upload new statutory data, you'll see the changes the next day.

KS2 Outcomes Report

When viewing the KS2 Outcomes Report you must ensure Leavers are visible using the filters.

If there are pupils included in your data who left before the Year 6 Statutory Assessments, create a custom group with leavers.
