If you are an MIS-controlled school, you will not see any controls to manage your pupil records. You must manage your pupils in your MIS. The pupil details will be sent to Sonar Tracker overnight when synchronised with your MIS.
Overview
This article explains how to remove a pupil record if you do not use an MIS to manage your pupil data.
Only remove a pupil if a new pupil has been added in error. If you delete a pupil record (rather than mark a pupil as a leaver) all of their assessment data and their pupil record will be permanently deleted from Sonar Tracker.
Prerequisites
- You must be an administrator.
Instructions
- Select Pupils.
- Select the leaver's pupil record.
- Select the Remove Pupil tab:
- Select Delete this pupil completely.
- Enter the word delete.
- Confirm the deletion by selecting Delete [Pupil's name]:
Outcome
The pupil record and all related assessment data in Sonar Tracker have been deleted.
