We have recently emailed all schools and included an on screen banner in the User Management area (School > Users)
regarding an update that is necessary to your school's Wonde Permissions.
Some requests are required while others are optional.
You will need to update the permissions to include staff details so that Sonar users can be managed
You may wish to update permissions for contacts (parents/carers) if you want to make use of the new Juniper Comms hub and / or share observations recorded in Sonar with parents. We will be providing more information about this shortly and again in the new year.
This is all part of our current upgrade to our Sonar Tracker login system over the next few weeks.
You’ll benefit from:
Two-factor authentication (2FA) to protect sensitive pupil data.
Automatic user updates – User accounts link directly to your MIS, so if staff join or leave, their account access is automatically updated.
To benefit from this your Wonde permissions need to be amended to include more fields such as staff and parent details. For further information see Portal: What data does Juniper Education need from our MIS?
If you do not see the image above when you view your user list and are not being asked for Two Factor authentication in Sonar now this is because we have not upgraded your Sonar account yet.
