This article details the different user roles in Sonar Tracker. The roles are designed to suit different job requirements in your school:
Role | Best suited for | Permissions |
Tracker Owner | The account owner | This type of user can do the same as an Admin user and is the Sonar Tracker account owner. |
Admin | The tracker manager | This type of user has full assessment permissions and can make school set-up changes, for example, selecting the Objective set. |
Write | Teachers and assessment coordinators | This type of user can enter summative and formative data without any limits on what they can do. |
Limited Write | Teacher users or teaching assistants | This type of user can enter/edit a limited subset of summative data. They may only enter/edit data for the current academic year. They can enter any amount of formative data. |
Read Only | Internal staff who may need access but do not enter data themselves | This type of user can only read data, but they can see pupil names. They are unable to edit data. |
Anonymised | Governors or similar stakeholder | This type of user can only read data but all pupil names are anonymised. They are unable to edit data. |
