Use the launch kit

Follow these steps to launch the Juniper Education App at your school.

  1. Read the launch timeline and checklist, and agree your launch date.
  2. Nominate someone at school to coordinate the launch.
  3. Edit the staff briefing, and share it with your school office and other relevant staff.
  4. Two weeks before launch, tell parents the app is coming. Use the website or newsletter copy and the parent email or letter template.
  5. On launch day, send your launch message with the download guide. Explain that parents receive an account email from Juniper Education on your behalf.
  6. Share the quick reference guides with parents who want to know more about what the app can do.
  7. After one week, send the reminder to parents and carers who haven't activated their account.

Tips and best practices

  1. Delete any optional text and notes in square brackets before you share a document.
  2. Only mention the features your school uses. For example, news, newsletters, and calendar events come from your Juniper Education website.
  3. Ask parents to switch on notifications, so they don't miss important school messages.
  4. Agree who parents should contact for help. In the staff briefing, parents contact the school office first.
  5. If a parent doesn't receive their invitation email, ask them to check their junk or spam folder first.

Next steps

After launch, you can see how many parents have activated their account in Comms Hub, where this information is available. Use this to decide which parents need a reminder or extra help.
