Sonar Tracker
Introduction
This article explains how to use the bulk fill feature to speed up summative assessment data entry. Bulk filling can be used for filling all summative assessment data for:
- A pupil across all displayed subjects.
- For a single subject for all displayed pupils.
If you are looking for information about bulk filling formative assessments, age-related assessments, or test scores, see Sonar Tracker: How do I bulk fill data?
Bulk filling speeds up data entry. After you've completed a bulk-fill, manually adjust any outliers in subjects or pupil assessments.
Take care when using this feature. Existing data for the selected pupil(s)/subject(s) will be replaced with the value used for the bulk fill. Once the action is completed, you cannot undo the changes - you will need to manually restore the data to its previous state.
Instructions
From either the Primary Summative Assessment (New) or EYFS Summative Assessment (New) page:
- Locate either the subject or pupil that you want to bulk fill.
-
Select the appropriate ellipsis (either next to the pupil or subject, depending on what you want to bulk fill):
-
From the menu, select Bulk Fill:
-
From the menu, select the value that you want to bulk fill with:
To remove values in bulk, select Clear Result.
-
When prompted:
- Review the details of the data that you are about to bulk fill.
-
Select Confirm Bulk Fill.
There is no undo option when bulk filling data. When you bulk fill, any existing data that has been entered will be overwritten. You will need to manually recreate any data that has been updated accidentally.
Outcomes
The selected value is bulk-filled across the individual pupil's visible subjects, or the selected subject for all pupils:
