Sonar Tracker: How do I approve an observation?

Overview

This article explains how to approve and publish a colleague-created Sonar Tracker observation. 

The observation you are approving must be from the current academic year. Observations from previous academic years can still be viewed, but only those from this academic year will let you approve them.

Prerequisites

  • To use Sonar Tracker's Observations functionality, in addition to a Sonar Tracker subscription, you must subscribe to either the Observations Module or the Parent Engagement Bundle.
  • You must have one of the following user roles / permissions to approve a Sonar Tracker observation: Account owner, Account Admin or Full Edit.

Instructions

Follow these steps to approve a Sonar Tracker observation in Comms Hub:

  1. Select Interactions.
  2. Select Approval Log.
  3. Select Observations.
  4. From All Observations, select the Title of the Sonar Tracker observation you want to approve:
  5. Review the Observation content.
  6. Select Approve & Publish:

Outcome

The Sonar Tracker observation will be approved and published.
