Overview
This article explains how to view observations by Audience type. There are two different Audiences used to determine who can see an observation when it is published:
- School - All school staff with Sonar Tracker access can view these observations. Parents and guardians cannot.
- Home - Parents, guardians, and all school staff with Sonar Tracker access can view these observations.
You can filter your observations by either or both of these Audience types.
Instructions

From the Observations page, select Advanced Filters:

From Advanced Filters, select Audience Filter:
- Select the audience you want to filter the observations by from:
- All - both School and Home observations
- School.
- Home.
- Select Apply Filters.
Outcome
The Observations page updates, displaying only observations for those Audiences selected using the Audience Filter within Advanced Filters.
