Comms Hub lets users with the appropriate permissions to contact anyone with access to the Parent App, an email address or a mobile telephone number stored in your school's system. This includes pupils, a pupil's parents, other family members, carers or childminders and staff members. Staff Members are any member of staff, either teaching or non-teaching who work at your school.
- App Messages can be sent to anyone who has your school's Parent App.
- Email messages can be sent to anyone stored in your system with an email address.
- SMS text messages can be sent to anyone stored in your system who has a mobile telephone number stored.
To send messages and texts, you must have been granted the appropriate permissions by a user with one of the following user roles / permissions: Account owner, Account Admin or Full Edit.
To send SMS text messages, you must have the required number of SMS credits available.
Where contacts are indicated as having a Court Order Preventing Communication, users are prevented from selecting them, despite being listed in contacts lists. See MIS: How do I add a contact? and MIS: How do I edit / update a contact's details from a pupil record? for further information.
