Comms Hub
Overview
This article explains how to schedule an app message or email to be sent at a later date within the current academic year.
You can't schedule SMSs to be sent.
When scheduling messages, you can only send them within the current academic year (you can't send them before or after the current academic year). To determine which dates are within the current academic year, the system uses the school's term dates if they are set in the Juniper MIS. If term dates are not configured, the last date you can schedule with an academic year is 31 August.
Instructions
After creating your message, rather than selecting Send New:
- Select Schedule for Later:
- When prompted:

Remember, Comms Hub checks your school's actual term dates (when they've been set) and stops you scheduling a message beyond the last day of term for the selected academic year. Where no term dates have been set, you are unable to schedule past the 31 August.
- Select a time to send the message.
- Select Schedule for Later.

Outcome
