Overview
This article explains how you can view a pupil observation that you've already saved in Sonar Tracker. Published observations can be viewed to review how a pupil is doing, for example, during a pupil progress meeting with your SLT or to inform your teaching.
Draft observations without photographs cannot be viewed, they can only be edited. Draft observations with photographs can be viewed.
Prerequisites
- To use Sonar Tracker's Observations functionality, in addition to a Sonar Tracker subscription, you must subscribe to either the Observations Module or the Parent Engagement Bundle (this includes the Observations Module and the Awards & Activities module).
Instructions
- Open the Observations page.
- Locate the observation in the Observations Feed that you want to view.
- Select the observation ellipsis to open the individual observation menu:
- Select View:
If the observation includes a photograph, select the photograph to view the observation.
Outcome
When selected, the observation is opened:
The descriptive text is displayed at the top of the observation. Select the tabs to toggle between the images, pupils, subjects and objectives included in the observation.
