Overview
This article summarises the Ages against ARE view in the Subject Overview report, detailing its purpose, the information it includes, and the controls for customising the report display.
Purpose
The Ages against ARE data analysis views of the Subject Overview report gives you the ability to compare the selected pupils' Standardised Age Scores for the selected Subject with their Age Related Expectations for the selected Assessment Points.
Using the data within the report, you can determine how individual pupils are performing over time from Assessment Point to Assessment Point. You can also compare outcomes across pupils within the group, and view the outcomes of the group as a whole. Based on the report outputs, you can put in place support strategies as required to further learning where the pupil may benefit from additional help or coaching.
In this report, pupils with missing assessment data are included in the calculations. Any numerical counts or percentage calculations regarding pupil numbers include all pupils, regardless of whether they have assessment records.
