Overview

This article explains how to manually create a new KS5 qualification from the Matching page in Sisra Analytics, for example, for a qualification taken off-site, where you only have a few grades.

If you are uploading grades for a new qualification using an Excel file, you do not need to manually create a qualification. Sisra Analytics will create this automatically during the upload if the qualification name is unique.

Prerequisistes

• You must be an administrator.

Instructions

To add a single qualification or subject to the Matching page:

1. Select DATA.
2. Select Key Stage 5.
3. Select Cohort.
4. Select Grades.
5. Select Matching.
6. Select Create New Qualification:
   
7. From the Create Qualification window:
   
   
   1. Enter the Qualification Name. Use a generic/clear name, for example, Drama and BTEC Hospitality, as the qualification name will be used on all reports. 
   2. Select Create.

Outcome

The new qualification is created on the Matching page, highlighted in orange as it will not be assigned to a QN/Qual Title or an EAP:

You must now:

1. Complete the Matching process for this qualification (See Sisra Analytics: KS5 - Completing the Matching page (Admin)).
2. Manually add the grades for the qualification to the relevant data set or assessment (See Sisra Analytics: How do I add grades manually?).
