Sonar Tracker: How do I get Optional End of KS1 assessments into Sonar Tracker?

Sonar Tracker

Background

In response to the 2017 consultation on primary assessment, on 20 July 2022, the DfE announced that assessments at the end of KS1 would become non-statutory from the academic year 2023 to 2024.

The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) has continued to create tests that schools may optionally choose to use. If your school decides to use them, you might find it helpful to record these in Sonar Tracker for your internal purposes.

You can populate Sonar Tracker / Sonar Lite with this data in one of two ways:

  1. Import the KS1 data from your MIS.
  2. Manually enter the KS1 data in Sonar Tracker / Sonar Lite for analysis and future tracking.

The steps you follow detailed in this article depends on whether you use stand-alone or integrated Sonar Tracker. If you are unsure of which version you use, see Sonar Tracker: Which version of Sonar Tracker am I using?

Importing test scores / teacher assessments from your third-party MIS
