MIS: How do I set a default meal plan for staff?

Overview

This article explains how to set one or more Default Meal Plans for one or more staff members through the Staff Bulk Meal Booking in the Meals Log. The Staff Bulk Meal Booking defines what school meals a staff member has chosen to eat in the future, day-by-day, week-by-week and month-by-month. Use the Staff Bulk Meal Booking at the start of each academic year, term, half-term or week (based on your needs) to populate the selected staff members' choices.

Instructions

Open Meal Log

From Juniper MIS:

  1. Select Manage.
  2. Select School Meals.
  3. Select Meals.

Create a Bulk Meal Booking

From the Meal Log:

  1. Select the Staff tab:

  2. Select the staff members for whom you want to set a Staff Bulk Meal Booking:
    1. Select one or more staff members individually by checking next to their Full Name.
    2. Select all staff by checking the box next to the Full Name column title.
  3. Select Bulk Actions:

  4. Select Meal Booking:

  5. From Staff Bulk Meal Booking:

    1. Select a Start Date (from today's date onwards).
    2. Select an End Date (up to the last day of the academic year).
    3. For each day of the week, each week, select a Meal Type to be applied to all selected staff members. Either manually enter these one-by-one or use the bulk fill feature to update the daily selected meal type for every week:

      1. Select the ellipsis next to the day of the week you want to bulk fill.
      2. Select Select...
      3. Select a meal type from the options available.
      4. Modify any exceptions manually as required.
    4. Select Save.
    5. When prompted, confirm that you want to save your changes by selecting Save:

  6. Repeat the above Steps 2 - 5 for each Staff Bulk Meal Booking you want to add.

Outcome

The Staff Bulk Meal Booking is applied to each staff member selected for each weekday in the selected date range. A messages confirming the changes is displayed:
