The following table lists limitations associated with sending text messages (SMS), App Messages and Emails to pupils, staff or other contacts in the JoinUp ecosystem:

* Whilst there are no character size limits for each text sent, a single SMS message is limited to 140 characters (1 credit per user sent to). If your message exceeds this length, it incurs a higher charge, for example, up to 280 characters will cost double (2 credits per user sent to), while 420 characters will triple the cost (3 credits per user sent to).
