Overview
This article explains how to record agency staff, for example, supply teachers or temporary support / admin staff, for inclusion in the School Workforce Census. This information should be manually entered before you generate your School Workforce Census.
Where the same agency provides supply staff for several distinct roles within your school, create an entry for each role. For example, if an agency supplies both a classroom teacher and a learning mentor to your school, you must create a record for each role that the agency supplies (two in this example).
Instructions
Follow these steps in the MIS to record agency staff details for submission into the School Workforce Census:
- Select Staff.
- Select Agency Support Staff.
- From All Agency Support Staff, select Create:
- From Create Agency Support Staff:
- Enter / select an Agency Name.
- Enter the number of staff undertaking the role from the agency in Staff Count.
- Select the Staff Role.
- Select Save.
Outcome
A message indicating the successful creation of the agency / role record is displayed, and you are returned to All Agency Support Staff:
Repeat the process for all roles the agency provides staff for your school.
