MIS: How do I record staff vacancies for the School Workforce Census?

This article explains how to manually record staff vacancies for inclusion in your School Workforce Census.

Instructions

Follow these steps in the MIS to manually record staff vacancies:

  1. Select Staff.
  2. Select Vacancies.
  3. Select Create:
  4. Complete Create Vacancy:
    1. Select a Vacancy Post.
    2. Select a Subject.
    3. Select a Tenure (Full Time or Part Time).
    4. Check if the role is Temporarily Filled.
    5. Check if the role has been Advertised.
    6. Select a Status (whether the role is Pending, Open or Closed).
  5. Select Save

Outcome

A notification is displayed confirming the vacancy is recorded for submission in the School Workforce Census. The vacancy is displayed in the All Vacancies list.
