Overview
This article explains how to see which class registers have not been completed and how to send a reminder to teachers to take their class registers. You can send reminders to teachers of an individual class, multiple classes or all classes where the register hasn't been taken.
These reminders help to ensure accurate attendance records and make sure that staff stay on top of their daily responsibilities.
Instructions
Confirm if the registers are incomplete
- Select Manage.
- Select Attendance.
- Select Unauthorised.
- Unauthorised Attendance Management opens, indicating any Incomplete Registers in a lozenge:
- Where Incomplete Registers are indicated, select Incomplete Registers to open the Incomplete Registers tab:
Send reminders for an individual register
From the Incomplete Registers tab:
- Locate the register where a reminder needs to be sent (use Search as needed).
- Select Remind in the Action column.
Send reminders for multiple / all registers
From the Incomplete Registers tab:
- Either:
- Check each register where you want to send a reminder
- Alternatively, to check all registers, select the checkbox next to the GROUP NAME title:
- Select Remind to the right of the Search bar.
Outcome
Reminders are sent by email to the member(s) of staff responsible for taking each selected class register. When a reminder is sent to a member of staff, a Contacting lozenge is displayed next to their name for the appropriate register:
