Overview
This article explains the Embargo dates and publication process for KS4 and KS5 exam reports in August 2026 and how to change report statuses, as needed.

From 12.01am on Wednesday 12th August, your Exams data set report in KS5 for:
will automatically be placed under Embargo the next time you publish, until 8.00 am the following day (Thursday 13th August 2026). |
From 12.01am on Wednesday 19th August, your Exams data set report in KS3/4 for:
will automatically be placed under Embargo the next time you publish, until 8.00 am the following day (Thursday 20th August 2026). |
Results Day publication process
From 8:00 am on both Results Days, the Embargo status will be automatically lifted. Your reports will revert to the status selected during publishing (Checked, Unchecked, or Locked).
When you are happy with your reports on the 12th / 19th, set your reports to Checked or Unchecked to give users immediate access to the Exams report.
Changing your report status
If you need to change your report status, do not re-publish your reports. Instead, change this on the REPORTS home page:
- For KS3/4, select the blue pencil icon next to Exams (within Admin Actions).
- For KS5, select Edit Details, when your Exams report is selected in the DATA SET dropdown.
