Overview
This article explains how you can reset a user's password for them.
If the user is in the same room as you are, you may prefer to let them type in their new password in Step 5 below.
Prerequisites
You must be an Administrator to reset a user's password.
Instructions
An administrator can also set a temporary password for a user by following the steps below:
- Select User Manager from the Home tab:
- Search for the user within the User Manager search box or by role:
- Locate and select the user's name from the list:
- Select Edit:
- Enter a temporary password in the New Password, re-type it and make sure User can change password is checked:
- Select Choose roles.
- Select Save Changes.
Outcome
The user's password will be reset to the new one that you have entered.
