Overview
This article explains how you create an SMS template for use when sending text messages in Comms Hub. Well-structured templates will save time when composing frequently sent text messages that include the same content.
Prerequisites
- Your user account must have been permitted to create a text message (SMS) template by a user with one of the following user roles / permissions: Account owner, Account Admin or Full Edit.
Instructions
- In Comms Hub, select Communications.
- Select Templates to open the Templates window:
- Select Create:
- Enter a Title for your message template - this will be used as the title in your message too.
- Select a Category for your message template.
- Select SMS as the Type. The SMS Message field is displayed:
- Enter the content of the SMS to use in the template into SMS Message:
- Select Save.
Outcome
Your SMS message template has been created to use when composing text messages (SMS).
