Overview

This article explains how to select the display options to compare different year groups or class groups using either the EYFS (2020) Age Related Overview or the Primary Age Related Overview. These reports give you with an overview of pupil performance against their Age Related Expectations (ARE) for the selected subjects.

Instructions

1. Select Reports.
2. Select the appropriate Age Related Overview report for your needs, either the EYFS (2020) Age Related Overview or Primary Age Related Overview.
3. When prompted, select multiple Year Groups and/or Classes that you want to compare:
   
4. Select Load Report. This opens the Age Related Overview report in its default view viewing the data for all pupils across the selected years/classes (for this example, the Primary Age Related Overview report is used):
   
5. To enable comparisons across classes/year groups, select Display Options:
   
6. Select how you want to break down the information displayed:
   
   
   1. Select Separate Classes to break down the data by class, letting you compare your data accordingly.
   2. Select Separate Year Groups to break down the data by year group, letting you compare your data accordingly.

Outcome

The report is updated, breaking down the information by either Class or Year Group based on your selection. Use these views to compare the performance of different classes and/or year groups. Headline figures are provided at the top of the report with tabular and graphical breakdowns of each class/year group below based on your selection:

Select a cell in the tables to see the names of the pupils contributing to the assessment percentage and total.
