Sonar Tracker: How do I delete a user?

Overview

This article explains how to delete a user from Sonar Tracker.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an administrator.

Instructions

If you delete a user in error the action cannot be undone - you will need to recreate the user.

Follow these steps to delete a user:

  1. Select School.
  2. Locate the Users widget
  3. If the widget looks like the one below, delete the user through your school's MIS. Otherwise, continue to Step 4.  
  4. Select (delete) icon next to the user you want to delete.
  5. When selected, Are you sure you want to delete this user? is displayed:
  6. Enter the word delete in the space provided to confirm your request.
  7. Select OK to complete the deletion.
  8. Following the successful deletion of the user, select Close to return to the Users page:

Outcome

The user is deleted from Sonar Tracker.
