Sonar Tracker: How do I edit a group?

Overview

This article explains how you can edit groups that have been manually created within Sonar Tracker. The name of the group and group members can be edited.

Groups synced into Sonar Tracker from your MIS cannot be edited in Sonar Tracker. They need to be managed in your MIS.

Instructions

  1. Select Groups.
  2. Select the group to edit.
  3. You will then be presented with the Group Members tab:
    The list on the left shows pupils who can be added to the group and the list on the right shows the pupils currently in the group.
  4. To add a pupil to the group, select the pupil(s) and select the green arrow. Their name will be moved from the left to the right column. 
  5. To remove a pupil from the group select the pupil(s) and select the red arrow icon. The group is saved automatically after you move the pupil(s).
  6. To change the details of the group, select Edit Group Details tab you can edit the name of the group and assign or edit the photo associated to a group.
