Overview
This article explains how to edit the Scores Range for tests within your school for individual subjects and years. They are linked to Scores - ARE used to set the expected age-related test scores.
Only Admins can manage the Scores Range for tests.
It is essential that both Current Scores Range and Scores - ARE values are set up before entering and analysing your Test Scores.
Instructions
- Select School.
- Select Scores Range from the Assessment Settings widget:
- Select the Academic Year and Subject to quickly select the Scores Range to work with:
- Select Edit Current Settings to make changes to meet your needs following the guidance below:
- When defining Scores Ranges the From value will normally be 0, and the To value will normally be 120 but this may differ for individual Subjects, Years and Terms based on your school's requirements. Currently, Scores Range values range between 85 and 115 in KS1 and 80 and 120 in KS2, with 100 being seen as meeting the required standard.
- Typically, the range will be the same for each Subject, Year and Term but they can be customised as required.
- When adding or updating Score Ranges all fields must be completed.
- Select Update Scores Range.
Outcome
The Scores Range has been set.
