How does auto renewal work?

Most Juniper products and services are subscription-based and set to auto-renew annually. In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, if your subscription is set to auto-renew and you wish to cancel, you must notify us at least 90 days prior to the renewal date by completing the relevant cancellation form available on our website.

Juniper no longer sends subscription renewal reminder notices. Under the English law principle of freedom of contract, there is no legal requirement for businesses to issue renewal notices to other organisations/businesses. It is therefore your organisation’s responsibility to ensure contract terms, including auto-renewal dates, are reviewed internally and acted upon in a timely manner.

If we have not received a valid cancellation notice at least 90 days before the renewal date, the subscription will auto-renew in accordance with the agreed contract terms.

The auto-renewal model is in place to avoid any disruption to your access to essential Juniper products and services.

If you miss the deadline for the cancellation, you will remain liable for the renewed subscription, and the invoice must be paid.

We strongly advise maintaining adequate internal systems - such as diary alerts or supplier review processes - to ensure timely assessment of current contracts and avoid unintentional renewals.
