Overview
This article explains how to update your records when parents, on request, have given or not given consent relating to an activity their child is involved in.
Prerequisites
- You must have Full Edit, Account Admin or Account Owner.
Instructions
Follow these steps to update parental consent responses in the MIS:
- Select Manage
- Select Consent Types.
- From Consent Types, select the appropriate Consent Type:
From the Consent Type, select the Pupils tab:
From the Pupils tab, update the pupil status using one of the two approaches below:
Select the appropriate tab:
- For each pupil:
Select the ellipses next to their Current Status:
When prompted, select Edit Status:
From Edit Consent Status, select a Status (Granted or Not Granted):
- Select Save.
Either check the pupils you want to update or check the All Pupils box next to the Pupil table heading:
Select Bulk Actions:
Select Edit Status:
Select a New Status (Granted or Not Granted):
- Select Save.
When updating in bulk, you may choose to update all pupils with the same consent, and change the values for any outliers as needed.
- For each pupil:

The Consent Status is updated for the pupil(s) selected:
