Sonar Tracker: Why can't I see some reports when logged into my school's Sonar account?

Overview

We are aware of an issue where some users cannot see our newer reports, including;

  1. EYFS Characteristic Attainment Overview.
  2. EYFS Good Level of Development Tracking.
  3. Primary Characteristic Attainment Overview.
  4. Primary Pupil Progress Meeting.
  5. Primary Triangulation of Data Analysis.
  6. Primary Flight Path.

This is being investigated and will be resolved. In the meantime, this article will help you to understand why this is and suggest a way to enable you to access the reports from one particular school if necessary.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an Account Owner / Admin User or have support from someone who is.

Instructions

If a user can't view the reports listed above in their school account, follow these steps:

  1. From the Juniper Portal (admin.junipereducation.org.uk) access one of the schools.
  2. Revoke the user's access (see Sonar Tracker: How do I remove a user's access?).
  3. Repeat for the other school(s) account(s).
  4. Leave for at least five minutes.
  5. Re invite the user to the school account they want to use those reports for (see Sonar Tracker: How do I invite a staff member to use Sonar Tracker through Juniper Portal?).
  6. When initially setting up this account choose Create new account. The user can choose the same password they had before.
  7. The user should now be able to access all of the reports from this account.
  8. Where a user is re invited to register for the other school account, they should choose the Log in with Existing account / Accept Role option. The user will probably not see some reports from here but can do everything else as normal.

Outcome

The user will see all of the reports in the account they were invited to first.
