Parent App: How do I remove a parent's access to Parent App?

Overview

This article explains how to revoke a parent's access to Parent App, for example, when their access to the child is removed by court order.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an administrator.

Instructions

Follow these steps to revoke a parent's access to Parent App:

  1. Switch to Portal if you do not have it already open (for further information, see How do I switch between Juniper apps / products?).
  2. Select User Invitations:
  3. In the Pupils & Contacts tab, locate the pupil for whom you want to revoke the parents' access.
  4. Search by pupil name or apply filters:

  5. Select the pupil's parents to view parent registration details:
  6. Select the vertical ellipsis next to their user status:
  7. Select Revoke Access:
  8. When prompted, select Revoke to confirm your decision:

Outcome

The parent's details are updated to reflect that they are no longer registered:

If you have revoked a parent's access in error, you must register them again, as if they were a new user (see Parent App: How do I invite a parent / contact to use the Parent App?)
