This article provides examples of what parents see when they use the Juniper Education App to interact with your school. Some of the screenshots show features that require subscriptions to specific products. Select an accordion below to find out more:
Home screen Hub (menu) Notifications The Home screen is a mixed feed, segmented by the type of content shared with parents.
From the Hub, parents navigate to view more content for each specialised section.
The Notifications list shows all push notifications sent to the parent. The purple dot indicates that the notification has not been opened. App messages Messages lists any messages that you have sent to parents. Parents can open each message to view its content. Additionally, they can long-hold the message to react using an emoji.
Notifying an absence An optional section, this can be disabled if required. Parents can inform you of any planned or unplanned absences. Any submissions are sent to a preferred school email address.
Attendance An optional section, this can be disabled if required. Parents can see overall attendance information from your connected MIS.
Observations list Observation view Interactions All observations are listed in a ’pinterest’ style view. Parents can tap into each to view the content. Parents can see the content of the observation. Parents can interact with each observation, using emojis or predefined messages. Award list Award view Interactions This is where awards that have been given to a child are listed. Parents can open each award / badge to view its content. Parents use this screen to view the content relating to each award.
