Sisra Analytics: Does Sisra support multi-tab browsing?

Yes, Sisra Analytics now supports multi-tab browsing within the reports for both KS3/4 and KS5.

Sisra Administrators - It is now also possible to multi-tab between the reports and either DATA, CONFIG or USERS areas. Please note however, it is not possible to multi-tab between two or more of these admin areas. Only one tab may be open when working in DATA, CONFIG or USERS.

To use multi-tab browsing, press CTRL + Click on the item you wish to open within a separate tab. This is useful for analysing multiple qualifications, classes or students simultaneously.

Example

Within the reports showing all qualifications, you can press CTRL + Click on each qualification you wish to analyse and each qualification's report will appear in a separate tab. In this example, we have the Grades Area - Totals - Qualifications report open in KS3/4.

By pressing CTRL + Click on one or more qualifications, such as English Language and English Literature, this opens up these qualifications in separate tabs which you can see below, without affecting this current tab.

English Language tab:

English Literature tab:

From here, you can further drill down into each class and student if desired, and open multiple tabs for each one too!

Things to note regarding multi-tabbing for KS3/4:

When working with KS3/4 reports, there are a few things to bear in mind regarding multi-tabbing functionality:

  • You are unable to re-load previously opened tabs. Attempting to do so may cause filters to be applied incorrectly across all the different tabs.
  • You should avoid opening multiple tabs from measures on the Headlines reports, any Filters-level reports, or AtL reports, as again, filters may be applied incorrectly across the different tabs.

For KS5:

  • The caveats mentioned above do not apply for the KS5 reports. As such muti-tabbing can be applied across ALL reports in KS5, and this should work as expected.
  • However, because the individual student detail reports work on a slide-out basis, unfortunately it is not possible to multi-tab between individual students. This can still be done in KS3/4.
