Overview
As an administrator, you cannot change a user's email address or password; only the user can do this (see the Sisra Analytics: How do I change my registered email address? and Sisra Analytics: How do I change my password? articles).
This article explains how you can help users gain access to Sisra Analytics by creating a new account when they can't access their old registered email address and can't reset their password.
Prerequisites
You must be an administrator.
Instructions
Create a new user account using a new email address:
- Select USERS.
- Select User List.
- Select Add New User.
- Add the user's details into the Add New User window:
- Enter their First Name.
- Enter their Last Name.
- Enter their Email Address.
- Select an Authority Group.
- Select Add New User.
After creating the new user account, delete the old account:
- Select USERS.
- Select User List.
- Locate the account you want to delete in the Active Users part of the User List:
- Check the checkbox to the right of the old account:
- Select Block Selected.
- When prompted, select OK to confirm your request:
- Scroll down to the Blocked Users part of the page and delete the blocked account:
- Check the checkbox to the right of the blocked account:
- Select Delete Selected.
- When prompted, select OK to confirm your request:
Outcome
The user receives an email with their new login credentials:
Their old account is deleted.
